Description of Horizontal Self-cleaning Filter
Groundwater Horizontal Self-cleaning Filter is a precision equipment that uses a wedge wire mesh screen to directly intercept impurities in water for purifying water and protect the normal operation of other machinery in the system.
Working Principle of Automatic Self-cleaning Filter
1. When water enters the filter housing from the inlet, the impurities will be intercepted on the inner wall of the mesh screen, and the filtered clean water will flow out from the outlet.
2.As the impurities accumulate on the inner wall of the filter cartridge, When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter reaches the preset value or reaches the cleaning time, the self-cleaning process will start.
Operation of the self-cleaning filter (Only need Two Steps):
1) Open the automatic drain valve;
2) The motor drives the cleaning brush inside the mesh screen, then the impurities intercepted by the mesh screen will be discharged from the discharge valve. The water feeding will not stop during the cleaning.
The entire operation process of the self-cleaning filter is controlled by an intelligent control box.
Features of Self-cleaning Filter
* No filtration interuption: No need to stopfor backwashing, realizing online backwashing while filtering.
* Long service life: The filter body is welded with carbon steel or stainless steel with high strength and no easy for deformation. The service life can be up to 25 years.
* High filtration accuracy: The default filtration accuracy is 100 microns, and microns from 100 to 3000 microns area available. It has a large filtration area and high impurity holding capacity. The customer can customize it according to actual working conditions.
* Simple cleaning: The steel brush has high strength, a wide brushing range, and completely free from manual cleaning.
* Motor protection: Equipped with motor overload protection, which can effectively protect the motor.
* Low water consumption for sewage discharge: It has the characteristics of uninterrupted water supply during cleaning and sewage discharge, no need for bypass, and short cleaning time. The water consumption for sewage discharge is low, not exceeding 1% of the total flow rate.
* Simple structure: Modular structure, easy installation and maintenance.
